Canga first learned to oil paint in the rec center at Tachikawa AFB near Tokyo Japan in the mid-60s.

In the decades that followed, his artist journey included animated films, TV shows, car commercials, PC games, and more. 

A mid-life career switched freed him to explore different subjects to paint.  Lately, when work is slow, he can be found deep in the Texas hill country with paints and canvas.
